How a session works
You speak aloud
You hold the microphone and speak. Stuck for a word? Ask for it: «how do I say that I missed the bus?». Parleo explains and takes the conversation back to English.
Mistake is immediately visible
Under your remark, the correct version appears, with changed words highlighted. The conversation does not stop.
At the end, there's an analysis
Parleo collects your phrases, shows corrections with a short rule, and tells you what to improve next time.
What a session consists of
Role-play conversation
Coffee shop, hotel, doctor, apartment rental, planning meeting, bargaining over price, job interview for six positions — thirty-six scenes. Parleo plays the other side and stays in character.
Course of 24 topics
From introductions to work and health. Each topic has three lessons, each lesson has seven tasks: three multiple-choice, three spoken aloud, the seventh is a conversation with Parleo.
Vocabulary with repetitions
Tap a word in the answer, and a translation will appear with a «To dictionary» button. For a saved word, a card is created: picture, translation, example, audio. Then it comes up for repetition.
What Parleo doesn't do
- 1It doesn't create a program for your goal or decide what you should do next. It supports conversation and corrects mistakes.
- 2It doesn't prepare you for a format-specific exam: neither the Unified State Exam nor IELTS with criterion-based assessment is available here yet.
- 3It doesn't call or persuade you to study. Reminders come three times a day, and you can turn them off in the app.
If your goal is to start speaking, this is enough. If you need results by a certain date and external discipline, get a human. Parleo will be there for the days between lessons.

How much does a lesson cost?
Parleo without voice is free: you type a phrase — it responds with text, forty responses a day. The full plan includes voice: one month — 899 ₽, three months — 2490 ₽, one year — 8990 ₽. With the full plan, up to sixty voice responses are available per day; the counter is visible on the main screen.
Do I need a VPN?
No. The server is located in Russia and accesses the models itself. The app opens in a regular browser.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. At the "Beginner" level, Parleo speaks in short phrases and adds a Russian translation in parentheses to each of its replies. If you don't understand, say "I don't understand" — it will repeat it more simply.
Will this replace a live teacher?
For conversation — yes: you can speak and hear corrections every day. A human provides a learning plan for a specific goal, exam preparation by format, and motivation analysis.
Are there lessons for children?
There is no separate children's course. For a teenager who can already read English, the course of 24 topics is suitable; younger schoolchildren need a teacher.
