English Practice
Practice relies on repetition: long sessions aren't needed. Ten minutes of conversation and one lesson a day is enough to keep your speech fresh.

Day's activities
- 1Ten-minute conversation. You choose a situation — coffee shop, team meeting, doctor — and speak. Parleo corrects mistakes right in the conversation.
- 2Lesson from the course. Seven tasks: three multiple-choice, three spoken aloud, the seventh is a conversation on the lesson's topic. A lesson without mistakes earns three stars.
- 3Word repetition. Words saved yesterday and last week return as flashcards with a picture, example, and audio.
- 4Review. At the end, Parleo shows your phrases with corrections and tells you what to work on tomorrow.
What you train
Speech
You speak aloud from the first minute. If you're missing a word, you ask in Russian and immediately use the answer in conversation.
Pronunciation
"Repeat after me": Parleo pronounces a phrase, you repeat. It compares the recognized words with the sample and shows what wasn't pronounced.
Words
Tap a word in the answer — translation and an "Add to dictionary" button. Then the word comes back for repetition at increasing intervals until it sticks.
What keeps you daily
| How it works | What it gives you | |
|---|---|---|
| Daily streak | grows with the first lesson of the day, miss a day — the count restarts | prevents putting it off until the weekend |
| Daily rhythm | three short sessions for your vocabulary: morning, afternoon, and evening | brings you back to practice, even when you don't feel like talking |
| Stars for a lesson | three stars for a lesson without mistakes, two — if you made a few | shows which lessons are worth redoing |
| Nine games | six solo, three with a group in a circle | conversation on days when you don't feel like studying |
Practice without a partner
Independent study has one difficulty: no one to talk to. You can read and watch as much as you want. Parleo specifically covers conversation — it answers with a voice, waits for your reply, and doesn't switch to Russian until you ask it to.
A phrase heard in a series can be analyzed separately: you insert the line and get a translation, a couple of remarks, and the same meaning in simple words to say aloud.
Frequent questions
How much should I practice daily
One conversation and one lesson are enough — that's ten to fifteen minutes. The streak grows with the first lesson of the day, so long sessions aren't needed.
How word repetitions work
A saved word returns for repetition at increasing intervals. If you remembered it, the next time will not be soon. If you forgot, the word will come again tomorrow.
Can I practice pronunciation?
Yes, "Repeat After Me" mode. Parleo says a phrase, you repeat aloud. It compares the recognized words with the sample and shows the match percentage.
What to do with recurring errors
The conversation analysis gathers them together: your phrase, the correct version, and a short rule. The analysis opens at any moment — no need to wait for the end of the conversation.
Do I need a textbook?
No. A course of 24 topics is inside the app. Words for repetition are collected automatically — from your own conversations.
