Data Deletion

Effective September 7, 2026.

Parleo links everything it remembers about you to one device. There's no separate account with a login and password in the app, so data deletion is simple: you press a button, and the server erases the records for that device.

What we delete

We erase your dictionary and associated images, course history, analyzed conversation errors, homework, points and streak, your support messages, and the device record itself.

We do not store conversations with Parleo. Correspondence lives in your phone's memory and disappears with the app; only a counter of spent responses remains on the server, and that also goes when you delete.

What remains and why

Payment receipts remain with the payment service YuKassa. We are required to store payment documents for five years — this is mandated by accounting law. The receipt shows the date, amount, and the email you provided during payment.

If you have a full plan, access by code will continue to work even after data deletion: the code and payment are linked to the payment, not the device. Save the code in advance, otherwise you'll have to recover it through support.

How to delete from the app

Open the menu in the top right corner, find "Delete my data", read what will be removed, and tap the button. A second tap confirms deletion. Then the app reopens, without your history.

Data is deleted immediately, we cannot restore it.

Deletion via support

If the app is deleted from your phone, but the data remains on the server — write to support@engbuddy.ru from the email you used for payment, or to Telegram @EngBuddySupportBot. We will delete it manually and respond within three business days.

If there was no payment and we don't know your email, attach your access code or provide an approximate date when you used Parleo — this will be enough to find the record.
